In 2016, the Minneapolis Good Chair Project was founded in partnership with the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board “on the premise that you can make life better and build community simply by adding some comfortable, movable seating to outdoor spaces.” Now, over 30 ‘good chairs’, custom designed and built from white oak by Willie Willette Works, can be found in parks, communities, and lakeshores throughout Minneapolis.
